- Support National Governing Bodies (NGB's) and regional and local authorities (RDA's and LA's) in the bidding for, planning and delivery of major events.
- Help sport organisations to build their own event delivery capabilities and develop their own people through training and mentoring.
- Assist NGB's, RDA's and LA's in the development of sport policies, major event strategies, facility strategies and sport participation and development plans.
